Pigments The powerful and standfast colours of ancient illumination come from their vegetal and mineral origin. Our pigments are genuine and pure, so that some of them have to be handled carefully or by people already used to do it (swallowing or inhalating them is or course not advised, tools and cups must never be used for something else, even clean, and so on, as clearly said in all books and courses). They come here in small quantities in a powder that sometimes must be ground again before mixing, especially earth pigments. The colours shown hereunder are taken from a RVB Internet catalogue and give only a very approximative idea of what the result will be.
